I was tasked with creation of the visual identity for Wood's global safety system. The shield was intended to be a symbol comprised of 3 elements for each of the 3 key areas of Wood's safety initiative.
Prepare. Engage. Intervene.
I was important to keep the design clean and instantly recognizable to Wood and client employees. I wanted the icon to stand out on its own but also feel like it is a part of a bigger Wood visual universe. The Shield doesn't just include site based safety but permeates the entire business to even cover mental health, wellbeing and data security.
